For first time usage. I’ve already oiled and put the cream on my wooden board. I’ve cleaned off the excess and it still feels slick like it would leave a bit of residue on my countertop. Is this normal? How many layers of cream do I need for a new board? I just did it once once on each side.

How long is overnight? Is that 8 hours? 12 or 16 hours. Overnight is super vague and an actual time frame would be better.

Does John Boos & Co recommend using any type of rubber feet on the bottom of a cutting board just like the one in this video that is on a stone countertop right next to a sink? We love this board and use it everyday. We recently discussed wanting to purchase another one for our kitchen to use one for raw and one for cooked foods.
