I'm 54 and in menopause. I was on keto and intermittent fasting for years - 18 hours fasting and two meals in eating window. But I got menopausal belly in meantime, anyway. So I changed it all: I started to fast shorter (14 - max16 hours daily), I increased amounts of animal protein and decreased amount of fat in every meal and I consumed three smaller meals in my eating window instead of two bigger meals. And after two months on this protocol, I loosed my belly totally! I didn't changed anything in my workout routine, which is very simple and easy: walking about one hour in day, and some light workouts few times in week for 15-20 minutes at home (ballet, pilates, light weights exercises and similar). So I'll keep going with this my new diet and protocol, it's obviously perfect for me and my body.

I'm in Ocala FL Thank you for sharing your info. This was a very informative video. I have been fasting for a mo. and was loosing but not as fast as I wanted to. I had don't fasting in the past 2016 I lost 20 lbs. Slowly I worked my way up to 150. and just couldn't get it off. Anyway I came to YouTube to refresh my memory on how I had done it in the past. I found you. You made it so clear on what I needed to go to get my body in ketosis. In the past 2 weeks I have lost 12 lbs. and I am a lb. lighter every morning for several days now. I am in my 70s and need this for my health. Thank you for sharing your info. By the way I bought your book and have told others of you. Again Thank you ! Feeling younger 🙂I fast from 7 pm till 12 pm, I do Matcha mushroom tea that has MTC in it.

I have been able to do very long term fasting as long as 164hours at least once a month been great 😊 😊 keep in mind I have been doing keto for 5years lost 140pounds trying to loose another 30 lbs.

I went on Keto 3 months ago, was not concerned about losing weight, but it was a nice benefit when I discovered I had lost 20 pounds. I do intermittent fasting and never have any hunger between meals. Very healthy, and I feel great.

Thanks for the info. Been doing fasting. This is my first week trying to eat KETO. maintained ketosis 4 days. Broke it tonight. I felt fine for the most part. On day had diarrhea in the evening, the evening of the next day felt tired. But I was fine during the day hours. Played great tennis.

I had stage 4 cancer. Less than 30% chance to live 1 year. I got radiation and chemo but combined it with dry fast plus IV saline 3x week for 7 weeks. I beat cancer. Cancer free for 8 years now. Doctors were shocked. Told me to keep doing whatever I am doing.
