I used to be an Islamophobe in the past, but in college, Allah made me come across a guy who would completely change my views on Islam and show me how beautiful Islam actually is and nice the Muslims are. I converted to Islam a year ago and it was the best decision of my life. Today I am happily married to that guy and we are really enjoying our married life. His family have recently shifted here from Bangladesh too. I can't wait to spend my first Ramadan ever with him and his family. I will always be thankful to Allah for showing me the correct path. Alhamdulillah. Lots of love to my Muslim brothers and sisters ❤️🇺🇲🇧🇩❤️

I’m a Muslim and honestly the fasting gets easier as you progress it’s just the first few days and the reason why you feel weak and even get headaches when you fast is because you’re body is releasing all the stored toxins and your immune system cells are regenerating but once you keep up your fast you feel better! So even if you’re not Muslim, fasting even outside of Ramadan from time to time has incredible effects on the body and I highly encourage you all to look at the scientific and medical research regarding fasting and its amazing benefits on the human body. This video was beautiful to see! There’s something precious about people experiencing each other’s culture and beliefs with honesty and respect.

Fasted my first Ramadan this year (2021) and converted to Islam shortly after! I hope you will join us for a full month next year brother, your words about feeling gratitude in moments of pain were profound.

One of the most beautiful benefits of fasting in Ramadan is that it makes you feel the pain of hunger felt by those who do not have anything to eat

After fasting for 17-18 hours and then getting "full" in less than 10 minutes makes u realise that pleasure of this life is really really short...

Refreshing to see Islam portrayed in a positive light to a UK audience, hopefully this video can spread some positivity through your viewers

I remember doing a 2.4km run during Ramadan at school, it's insane but I'm always reminded that there are people who don't even have the luxury to enjoy iftar. Ramadan is not only about fasting, it's about not complaining about anything and being grateful with what you already have.

I have seen
some Muslims in Ramadan don't even sleep the whole night
they pray salat called tahajud
they really love their god and their religion

You're all probably thinking that Muslims think of this as a hassle or that we're happy it's over but we genuinely love Ramadan, it's our favorite month of the year and it's such a happy time in our community it really cleanses our souls

we do this not only on Ramadan. some do it on a regular basis, twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. it's a celebration of your strength and health if you can do it, to give up essentials to feel what your fellow less fortunate humans go through. I feel so proud that I do this so easily every year thanks to Allah.

One thing which i learned from my first fast, was to never do or display anything infront of a person who does not have that blessing or cant do certain acts. I vividly remember my miserable feeling being hungry and got more desperate when my sister ate infront of me. Dnt not showoff or display your blessing infront of people who are at lower level than you. That was the lesson i learned.

When you get used to fast, you will realize that the toughest test in ramadhan is not hungry and thirsty but bad habit like gossipy, talk dirty, lied, etc

My respect for you lot has skyrocketed even more. I still bloody struggle after fasting for about 7 years. I salute you.

"When I feel pain, I feel grateful" that was beautiful. And it's awesome that you were sincere about feeling annoyed and not be ashamed of then say "now I know that's a privilege"
