❤🙏✝️ I observed individuals practicing this on television and in church. Initially, I believed they were simply fabricating it, and I couldn't relate to it. However, one day while I was engrossed in reading the Bible at home, I began praying and suddenly, I experienced the overwhelming presence of the Holy Spirit. Without pause, I found myself speaking in tongues, overcome with a mixture of loud cries and tears. Although it felt like an extended period, it was merely a duration of 10 minutes. I was utterly drained and depleted of energy when it was over. My hope and prayer is that you, too, will encounter the holy Spirit and have the privilege of speaking in tongues. God is merciful. He always forgives. Never be ashamed to take your failures to him. He is for you, not against you! God is with you in the storm. He knows your troubles, he hears you! He is for you, on your side, always! It may feel silent at times, but he’s holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming! One of the many best gifts our Father has given us through Christ Jesus-Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the gift of Speaking in Tongues. I grew up baptist all my life and only heard of speaking in tongues being a language that someone else can interpret. And that was pretty much all I heard about it. But I NEVER even saw that in my church. It always bothered me about the part where in the Bible it said having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. I wondered POWER?? Never really saw any. I just had a feeling that the tongues part wasn’t right because I felt at times, like I wanted to speak in tongues...something down deep, but was told it didnt exist. PRAISE GOD FOR TRUTH ISAIAH!!! I started watching yall and learned all the different tongues in the Bible and they ARE THERE!!

It took me some time to understand these truths:
1. Speaking in tongues is for every believer. (Mark 16:17)
2. It’s a free gift from God and I just need to receive it. (Acts 2:38-39)
3. What I speak is the tongues though I don’t understand at first. (Luke 11:11-13)

Good morning brothers and sisters. Tongues are almost always 'glossa' in the greek original manuscripts. This is greek for languages. It is a very well explained phenomenon, elaborated on by Peter in the acts 2 pentacost celebration in Jerusalem. There is no mysterious way to speak in different languages, because scripture demands explanation and interpretation.

I never spoke in tongues, I sometimes wonder if subconsciously I resist it. Or maybe that is just not my gift. Speaking in tongues is confusing to me.

The first time I heard speaking in tongues was with my mother 2 years ago. She was directly speaking to me for about an hour. It was the same phrase. By the sixth or seventh time I understood it in English. Guess it was a prophesy based on how they explaining it.

Hi Isaiah saldivar. Yes for me too. I speak in tongues and interpret. God gives me a phrase then expects me to trust Him, (open my mouth and He fills it. ) Then as I speak more comes. And yes I feel a flutter or pressure in my " belly" .
