More than one of your co-workers that don't have a gossip reputation tell you that they overheard management saying that you're going to be getting terminated soon and telling you that you should quit before they have the chance to fire you. It happened to me because I wasn't good enough for their unrealistic expectations. Ever since that termination I started taking co-workers seriously when they warn me that management is gonna fire me so I can blindside the managers. One job I pulled the good old "You can't fire me. I quit" schtick. I then wrote a note and put it in my locker on my last day after leaving my 2 weeks saying that I knew they were gonna fire me.

I don't know if this is the video to ask this: I've never been fired, knock on wood. I'm a big "stigma" person, maybe it has something to do with me being born in Seattle in 1973, and Japanese-American. IF I were going to be fired, provided it wasn't something horrendous, like theft, which DOES warrant firing on the spot, I asked people, "If I were going to get fired, I'd offer to write a letter of resignation, IMMEDIATELY." That way, I can just "peacefully resign, " and in my own mind, I can tell myself that "I wasn't fired, " even though I was technically kind of "forced out." I have a former male friend, who got fired. I asked our other friend, "Shouldn't he have offered to resign, " bacially to "save face?" Well, this other friend said, simply, "If he quits, he can't get Unemployment. If he gets fired, he can get Unemployment." If it comes down to "being, or not being able to claim Unemployment, " THAT would make me choose to allow myself to be terminated (and not offering to resign).

I feel like I might get fired from my full time job so I quit it looks better and I still have my part time job.
My manager was willing to assign my work to someone else in the team even though I was new to working there and made a few scanning errors. They wanted to digitize their documents. Entry level job there’s lots no need to hang in so hard to this one. Oh well 😢
