The tutorials you make are fantastic. Great pacing, enough info to understand what's happening without over-complicating it, and you can blindly follow each step without anything getting all fucked up. Good stuff man, appreciate ya 🙏

Very helpful, thank you. The only thing you can probably add is that windows time changes after you install Linux. Windows goes to hardware clock whereas Linux understands timezone setting.

Arch's documentation says that a separate EFI partition shouldn't be created because it may prevent Windows from booting though.

You said you make another EFI Partition for Arch. Is that if I choose Windows Boot Manager from grub, it will boot to Windows partion, and it will not do anything with Windows's EFI partition right?

Also I wonder if the Windows gets updates, will it modify any of those EFI partions?

Thank you.

Thank you so much! Btw if anyone is having problems with os-prober detecting the Windows EFI partition this fixed it for me:

Apparently, grub-mount needs fuse3 as an optional dependency as it contains a shared library ‘linfuse3.so.3’. Without grub-mount working properly, os-prober doesn’t work.

So, install fuse3 with ‘sudo pacman -Sy fuse3’ and attempt to mount either with os-prober or manually.

All these problems are due to archinstall (a small disaster as an installer) cannot yet handle/boot/efi as a mount point
