I think the archinstall script is a really good addition to arch and will hopefully make it easier for people to migrate to arch, I'm really liking it so far but I really don't know a lot about configuring the desktop environment - I wish there was more information about what works well, and what doesn't. I guess it's trial and error for now in VM's :) snap didn't run so well for me so I'm just using the AUR for now as it's been pretty good. Might also give flatpack a go too

Good instructions, I had to do some "tweaking" for the new installer as of the Jan. 2024. You may want to make a update video for the current installer, alot has changed. Cheers!

Ran through this for a plasma build, selected Pipewire, install failed because Jack and Jack2 (thought it used now?) are in conflict. Retrying with PulseAudio yields almost 2x install time for some reason, but a successful install. Cheers mate!
