If anyone wanted a written version of this video. I've done that below, but I added the first line because it helps the installation from giving some strap package errors
1. Pacman -Sy archlinux-keyring
2. Iwctl
3. Device list
4. Station wlan0 scan
5. Station wlan0 get-networks
6. Station wlan0 connect "(networkname)
7. (Enter password for network)
8. Ctrl + C
9. Archinstall
10. If needed change language and locals
11. Mirrors / choose region
12. Disk config/select partition/select drive/filesystem/ext4
13. Boot loader/ Systemd-boot
14. Swap/No
15. Set Root Password
16. Set up user account and password
17. Profile/desktop environment/Gnome/
18. Audio/pipewire
19. Kernels/ linux/ linux-zen
20. Network configuration/ network manager
21. Install

it only finally worked, when I ignored about 30% of your instructions and followed my own instinct, because it's not just the USB it's the PC you're using with its chipset, it's wireless device, and various other hardware that influences what settings you should use. So this tutorial should specify which computer you are using because it really does affect the USB install

I tried to install Arch "The Hard way" with no success, I always get stuck in the system boot installation part, I didn't know it had this wonderful tool to install it as it if was any other distro. I'd like to install it the hard way sometime in the future, though.

Thank you, i am experimenting linux on a usb drive. First Slax was not that stable, the mint usb drive was overheating and eventually i broke it in two accidentally, then I bought a bigger one and wanted to try Arch even if it's "not for beginners" but this guide made me think otherwise.

I did everything you did, but I've chosen Budgie instead of Gnome. The installation was successful, but I'm not able to boot into the system. I'm stuck in a black screen with "Reboot Into Firmware Interface" as the only option. I've also chosen Systemd-boot instead of Grub. Can you help me?

IWCTL gives no devices. My laptop runs Linux Mint (recent) and has latest broadcom drivers. Cant get beyond the first step :(
I recently did a full install of archcraft linux from Live to a second USB. But cannot connect to the internet or even ethernet!

Would I have to install new drivers and microcodes when moving the drive between PCs with different hardware? If that's the case, I might just wait until I get a new computer to do a regular installation.

On my RUFUS the Cluster size selected as Default is 16 kb's (Default) not as yours stating 32 by default? Should I leave mine at 16?
