Our bodies need constant movement to function well. And no, walking doesn’t cut it. I’m talking about all the movement patterns that we, as human beings, are designed to do. A combination of mobility exercises and self-massage serves as a powerful self-care prescription.

For rounded shoulders, we want to focus on opening up the pecs and other medial rotators of the humerus (lats, teres major, subscapularis). We also want to fire up the back and shoulder muscles that have become weakened from this adverse posture.

My elbows barely touch the wall, never mind my forearms!

I can only do this with my left arm if I lean back against the wall at an angle with my feet away from the wall and then walk back once my arms are flat against the wall. And it feels really good once I do it.

One of the wrist can’t even touch the wall…it tilting forward quite significantly…imbalance? How to correct it …over time ?

Omg I can’t even get into this position! Can’t get back of hands to touch the wall without arching my back and pulling my low back away from the wall. What causes this?

This is crazy hard to do for me. Once i get into position i can barely move my arms up. Hope i improve over time if i keep trying

I cant get my arms flat against the walll and feel pinching at the back of my left shoulder only when I do this

My back arches naturally when I pull my shoulders back for that starting position. I don't understand how to keep the lower back straight and intact with the wall... I mean like my tail bone area, glutes, head and shoulders are touching the wall does that count?

2 year ago you were replicating "shoulder press" from a stretch. Now you're teaching how to stretch peck's and help maintain shoulder joints. Funny how these things work eh
