Copas are so old and I find it amazing how. They are still amazing

If I had regular or smallish feet, I'd wear Copas. I think it's a myth that these are good for wide feet. While the leather will stretch, the hard plastic base will not stretch and so will not support you. You will be spilling over the base, which leads to twisted ankles and just an uncomfortable fitting. And uncomfortable fitting shoe will make you run less. It will disincline you to make those supporting runs. You want a comfortable shoes, a well fitting shoes, shoes that offer protection and touch. That's what the Copas do for you. The results are real world results on the soccer field. Those grams you're saving with synthetic shoes don't make any real world difference.

Young players born into the synthetic craze don't really know anything other than light shoes. If you grow up wearing super light shoes, heavier shoes will seem outdated and burdensome -- slow. But this is an illusion.

I like white shoes better with black laces. I recently bought white 11Questra IN shoes and replaced the white laces with black ones: Much more refined imo :-)

You really have to be a weight weenie to worry about the 330 grams, give or take a few grams, of the Copa Mundials.  If you're more than a couple of pounds overweight, then it's beyond ridiculous.
