adidas Copa 70 football boots in knit - in today's video, we look at the new adidas Copa Mundial 70 football boots, which have been to celebrate the 70 years since adidas was created. It's a modern knit remake of the classic adidas Copa Mundial football boots, but whereas the original Copa Mundial had leather on the outside and textile on the inside, the adidas Copa 70 is the other way around. This has kangaroo leather on the inside and Primeknit on the outside to use leather to show where it all started in 1949 and use to knit to highlight where the brand is now with modern innovation. The Copa 70 football boots will be worn by Paulo Dybala on the pitch for Juventus, and will be a great modern alternative to the original classic adidas Copa Mundial from 1982. Made will a fully knit outer shell, the new Copa 70 takes the original Copa Mundial into 2019 with a modern yet classic looking execution in full knit that captures all the details of the original adidas Copa Mundial football boots. 70 years ago, adidas was created, and while the Copa Mundial is only 37 years old, it's still one of the most iconic pieces of footwear from the brand - and in today's video, JayMike will tell you all you need to know about it.

The idea of using a primeknit upper instead of leather on the copa mundial is one of the best innovations by Adidas so far...

I mean, as a 70 year anniversary this is perfect. No point in making a "classic" anniversary shoe as that's what the normal copa already is; a modern k-leather version exists in the copa 19 and the knitted upper seems like the perfect gimmick to celebrate the modern times for the copa, however it isn't really a copa. Just a black boot that looks kind of like the copa and celebrates it's 70th birthday.
