The last 2 pairs of boots I’ve bought. Hadn’t had full leather boots in years and honestly I’ll never change again! Both are simple perfection. Went a size and a half down in the Copas and after a couple of sessions they fit like they were custom made. Once you go leather you’ll never go back

i think the super-long laces in the mundials are meant to be wrapped around the boot and then tied as normal, so you can have more lock down in the upper part of your foot.

Copas stretch a lot more with break-in. Premier 3 stretches surprisingly little, partly because only the forefoot is real leather, but even the toebox didn't stretch nearly as much as I anticipated. Because of this, I recommend people go true-to-size with Premier 3 or even a half-size up, contrary to the usual advice with real leather boots.

It’s a shame Nike scored an own goal back in the late 90s with the Tiempo Premier 3D/M. They had a Copa/World Cup beater of a boot only to regress with the release of an updated version which was inferior in weight (heavier), k-leather grade (wasn’t as supple) and fit (poorly designed shoe in general).
