biggest con of the black copas is people think you are a referee

I’m a fan of Copa mundial due to k leather comfort and touch, introduced me to football boots but moved over to Mizuno Morelia 2 as an upgrade. That said I’d take a Copa mundial over modern synthetic boots any day.

The very best boot of all time. The only thing i would change would be to give it an external heel-counter (it is just my personal preferance, which does not affect how amazing these are). Many ballers in Mexico refer to these, Mizuno Morelias, Puma Kings and Diadoria Brasils, as 'the only boots you need to play football.' They are perfect. Custom 1:1 fit to the exact shape of your foot, an ultra premium, full kangaroo leather upper and perfect weight distribution without sacrificing traction

If anyone is selling a new classic blackout pair and Mexico pair in US 8/MX 6/UK 7.5/JP 26, i will always buy a new pair. Contact me and i will buy, can never have enough

I'm 35 yo and I've never played in the copas. I'm a die-hard k-leather boot nerd, though. I've tried so many silos before but I always go back to my tiempos, modern copas, and mizuno products. There's just nothing like that leather boot feel, NOTHING. I've tried them on before at the shop but never played in them. These white ones are 🔥🔥. Might just have to get them.

Imagine if they slapped the copa offer onto an F50 soleplate

The ultimate pro of these Copa- regardless of playing surfaces- the peg/cleats for North Americans, are arrayed in a way that doesn't leave your feet sore on hard/firm and enough grip when on soft ground- just slab on some pretoleum jelly on the soles on wet use...

I do like a good old fashioned black boot but those fucking white ones! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

My opinion, you simply cannot beat a copa mundial / leather boot / puma king / mizuno etc

Copa Mundial will be wearable until atleast 2030 I won't be surprised if they make special colourways for the WC 26' and 30'

The Jamaican copas are the best colorway in my humble opinion 👌 😌

The Mania's you were talking about weren't event made in Germany, only the soleplate was glued on. So basically assembled in Germany. And they actually printed "made in Germany" onto the tongue, which was made in Indonesia. So basically a scam.

WOW The algorithim does not fail, and the timing too! I was literally doing research between these and the Mizuno Morelia Neo 4 Pro. Do you have any trading points to consider between the two?

Copa Mundials for FG and World Cups for SG are all you need, there’s a reason for their longevity. Modern football boots are over engineered and over priced, the weight difference is negligible, unless you are an elite level footballer.

Still the best boot ever, better protection then the plastic crap they produce now

I would definitely still wear them if they had a little more aggressive soleplate for FG. They have an unmatched touch still.

Everyone already knows they stretch a lot, the lockdown starts sloppy and get worse, and they need to be actively cleaned and maintained with leather conditioner. And that they weigh 300ish grams dry. Here are the other cons I see noted much less often:

- They easily exceed 400 grams in wet conditions. This is not trivial. With two boots, that's approaching an extra kilogram of weight on your feet. We were used to that in the 20th century, but modern boots not absorbing water is a very good thing about modern boots.

- The soleplate is thin enough that you will feel stud pressure on 2G/3G artificial grass, or any AG pitch that needs renovation.

- Related to the previous, the soleplate and studs are not up to modern density standards -- they're _soft._ This causes the studs to wear down very quickly on any kind of AG (even high quality AG).

Despite having concials, these boots designed in 1979 were engineered for use on natural grass, and only natural grass. It's important people understand this. I see these boots recommended for AG so often, just because they have conicals, and it's bad advice.

I got these in my regular size and the heel is too big. Should have gone with smaller size but it felt uncomforbale at the store. These shoes truly are bigger than others, especially the heel (at least compared to hypervenoms)

Just hurt my ankle in these. The cleats are more narrowly placed than my last pair of cleats. 😭
