Yeah, they are going to pay up if they do it... and IF you sue them with a lawyer. See how many low income employees actually do that. Big companies know it and take advantage of this. Welcome to reality, we are STILL slaves. We get paid pennies compared to the owners and executives, we are just slaves that get paid just to be able to eat and have a house so they don't have to provide it.

Had a coworker on a job once who was late occasionally I asked him what’s the deal? He said his disabled son sometimes has a problem in the morning and he had to help him get ready for his day. HS was giving him trouble saying he’s gonna have to make other arrangements for his son so he can get to work on time. I told him to go see the shop steward, he was immediately put on
