Evan goes super long with 15 continuous marathon pace miles with just 5 weeks to go till the OC Marathon. It is the final continuous marathon pace run she will do, during which she practices all of the race day actions like fueling, hydrating, and running non-stop at a consistent pace. Evan will transition to race specific workouts during the next 4 weeks. She will simulate the fatigue and threshold efforts she will encounter late in the marathon race. It will be a lot of weekend threshold heavy workouts as we get closer to May 4 when Evan will toe the line and give it her all to finish the marathon in 2 hours and 50 minutes.
