Your the first Keto/Fasting channel I started watching when I began learning about all this about 5 years ago along w/ Dr. Berg and Dr. Boz and while it took 5 years, I FINALLY started my 250lb Weight Loss Journey last November @ 546lbs 238lbs Lean Mass and am 477lbs and 237lbs Lean mass (Been over 400lbs since 12) and over 60% stronger (Based on my Squats, Bent Over Rows and OHP which are my main lifts I do along w/ chest which has been primarily creative things and knee pushups.) idk if you will read this as I can see how the comments will be overwhelming at your sub size, but if you ever read this, Thank You. You started my brain churning and also helped my mom go from 264lbs to 160's (She hadn't been under 170lbs since High School) Ive done a very Ketovore style diet. Pce Mr. Delauer. God Bless Bro

I also take cod liver oil as my omega3, Vit.D supplement. I get most of my vit.D from the sun and diet (salmon, egg yolks ). Probiotics and K2 from Natto, Kimchi, other fermented foods, and egg yolks. Whey, magnesium, creatine are also at the top of my list

So glad you spoke on the Creatine water retention. I have this issue with creatine when taking 5G/day and often folks try to act like it’s because you’re not taking in enough water, too much salt or some other dietary issue. Or, that your body will adjust over time - but for me that never happened. But I have found that 1-2.5g/day allows me the benefits without retaining much if any of the water.

Is cod liver oil best taken in a supplement or take the oil?

It's my understanding that magnesium l-threonate is the only magnesium proven to cross the blood brain barrier. It was taking glycinate but my doctor had me switch. I actually notice a difference now at bedtime.

Anecdotally, I suffered from leg cramps for years and tried many different supplements including magnesiums that were supposed to work for cramps. The only one that ever worked is Jarrow Liposomal Magnesium (in case any of you out there are having leg cramps). My leg cramps were debilitating and really affected my quality of life but now I rarely get cramps. Nothing else worked.

100% agree with the water retention from creatine. I can’t go over 2-3 grams a day or I turn into moon face.

Great video!

Could you do something similar focused on weight loss supplements, what a good, COST-EFFECTIVE regimen would be for people with significant fat to lose?

I'm guessing there would be a lot of overlap (maybe with different amounts), but I'm thinking it would focus a bit less on workout/muscle building, and perhaps a bit more on relieving the release of toxins that are bound up with adipose tissue as your body uses fat for energy. There may also be other deficiencies and needs that obese people generally have that those already in good health might not experience (I've heard that obese people have a hard time getting enough vitamin D, for example).

Thanks again!
