Some things are best left buried.

The highly anticipated follow-up to Amanda the Adventurer is here, and it is without a doubt one of the most uniquely-bizarre and disturbing indie horror game in recent memory. Picking up right where the first game left off, Riley Park and their unexpected ally arrive at the Kensington Public Library in order to put a stop to whatever it is that Hameln, Amanda, and the Demon are doing.

Amanda 2 genuinely shook me ngl, especially the secret ending. Definetely way darker than the 1st

It seems like Amanda’s abilities were taken away and Wooly is rubbing it in her face and teasing her through innocent words which makes Wooly look like the bad guy

When “Wooly” first showed up in the tapes in this game I thought to myself how the real Wooly was replaced with a different “Wooly” back in the first game

I'm very happy how these developers fleshed out their lore that much and improved in the delivery of their story. Can't wait for the next sequel 😁

So has nobody just realized that the meat man saying close your eyes and count backwards from 10 is clearly a nod to being a surgeon of some sort

Yeah the new demon is wooly. That demon resembles a sheep, and what animal is wooly? A sheep. Wooly isnt the guy who we think he is, he is horrible as amanda.

The image of a circle Wooly's surrounding Amanda while spinning aggressively has to be the funniest shit ever.

I don't think Wooly is the bad guy because Amanda also has monster form and probably those demons are controlling both Wooly and Amanda to do something bad, when the negative emotions appear, the demons have control over Amanda and Wooly's bodies, that's my theory.

As far as Joanne's backstory and Kate's death, here's what I'm able to garner: Hameln approached Joanne specifically because they knew she was desperate to find her brother and planted the idea that destroying the tapes could bring him back. She went to Kate's house and argued with her about it - she's written to Kate about her investigation before, after all, so she has to have tapes in her possession - and this was sometime after Kate had written Riley the letter that opens the first game. Given what's in that letter and Kate's frantic explanation on the cassette, it sounds like Hameln had been onto her for a while and she was preparing for Riley to keep the research going. I'm not sure what happened between the letter and the cassette - maybe it was the Amanda entity showing up during her argument with Joanne? - but whatever the reason, Kate realizes that bringing Riley into the fold is a bad idea. Unfortunately, she dies in a car crash while recording the cassette, and Riley doesn't hear it until it's far too late to back out of things. The house fire happens in the middle of the second game, there are faint sirens in the distance when Joanne radios Riley about listening to police scanners, and that's for sure Hameln trying to destroy Kate's copies of the tapes. I think when Joanne says she led them right to Kate's house, she was referring to the tapes' location; when Hameln told her about destroying the tapes, they did so intending for her to reveal where they were located, and they took matters into their own hands by burning the house down. (I'm assuming they knew where she lived, but they weren't sure where she was hiding the tapes, if that makes sense.)

The whole “what’s your favorite breakfast?” “ I don’t like that, but you do you” “So what do you want to cook?” “ bacon” “ I love that.”
That’s good kids show lessons. It’s prepping you for a relationship.

Around 24:20 I'm sure that's Rebecca Colton's clothing under the dirt because we last saw her wearing a black hoodie/ shirt after she got transported into the show in which after that Hamelin trying to hide anything that may remind her about herself in the real world

Joanne is the person who wrote the letter we saw in kate's house. And I think Wooly is the neurosurgeon. Isnt it suspicious that he always wants Amanda to be calm and dont get angry. He is monitoring her. Thats why she hates him.

Honestly this is the creepiest horror game I’ve seen, especially the part where Amanda merged with wolly
