Amanda The Adventurer burst onto the scene last year and quickly became one of my favorite games! From the old kid's TV show aesthetic to the interactivity and of course... the LORE! More and more puzzles unfolded with this game, like who is Wooly? What is Hamelin Entertainment and what happened to Sam Colton, Rebecca's Dad. Let's see if Amanda The Adventure 2's demo will answer any of those questions!

Some things missed :

-did you know that if you write "butcher" when Amanda ask who we wanna go see, she freaked out and is extrimely scared to hear this name; looks like the butcher may be one of Hamlet's scientist who maked Rebecca into what she is now... (there are other words such as "Rebecca" or so that trigger a reaction, but it is the same as the ones you said)

-did you know that if you let the possum take the coin, amanda will find in the couch more coins, giving her 2 coins that, at the end, she can keep instead of going on the train with no money

-if you don't take the tape from the monster's hand, he will get annoy and let it fall (or trow it at you i don't remember)

The imagery of Amanda saying I’m rotting, as in Rebecca’s real body rotting irl, and an opossum trying to get to her like a real one would try to get to Rebecca’s real corpse is just horrific.

I actually think the possum might be *Sam*. Wooly isn't very paternal to Amanda, he attempts to keep the show on track, which seems like something an employee of Hamlin would be more invested in. Possums are well known for playing dead, and we know that Sam disappeared and was perhaps presumed dead, which would tie into that idea. Plus, the possum didn't show up in the first game and only now seems to be disrupting things, now that Wooly is gone. I think it might be trying to communicate with her. It also appears in the trailer to be haunting her, which is a fitting role for her father.

I know this has nothing to do with the lore. But am I the only one that notices how the animation has changed? Like Amanda is moving more like jumping off the couch, and moving her arms and hands, and jumping around, I think it’s really cool how the animator is making her act more like a child then in the other demo’s and game where she mostly stands in place and barely moves.

Hey Tom,
A game I think u should cover is ‘Sally Face’ it’s a indie horror game but it’s really great and full of lore.
It went viral a few years back and I’m pretty sure matpat played it on GtLive about 6 years ago but I don’t think he ever did a theory on it,
It might be random but I think it would be really great to cover it and u might even bring the fandom back. I think u would really enjoy covering it because the storyline is well written and executed. (Love the content btw)
