If you suffer from kidney stones do not eat raw spinach. It gave me a 9mm stone that 100% blocked my kidney and therefore went incorrectly diagnosed in spit of tremendous pain because no blood or bacteria could make it past the stone. I eventually ended up in the emergency room with a ballooned kidney that was an empty hull & had zero filtering tissue. I had a raging presepsis infection. The infection reached my spine and now I am crippled and in intractable pain every day. Turns out spinach contains a type of calcium that cannot be absorbed well.
Watch out for high oxalate foods too.

I used to eat a lot of spinach and blueberries until my kidney stones showed up. I guess the oxalates are the problem. Is there anything that binds with oxalates to remove them harmlessly from the body?

Not ancestrally appropriate. Most of what he mentions are not bio-available at best, toxic at worst.

My wife will eat meat everyday while it literally makes me sick, we are all different and there's no one size fits all.
