Do This immediately after CORE Aeration ‼️

Core aeration is done to improve soil drainage, alleviate soil compaction, and promote healthy root growth by creating small holes in the lawn and removing plugs of soil. This allows water, air, and nutrients to penetrate the soil more easily, which can lead to a healthier and more vibrant lawn. Additionally, it can also help control thatch buildup, improve fertilizer uptake, and enhance overall turfgrass health.

Is it better to do this in the spring or fall? Also have Bermuda grass down here in Georgia.

Hey BYD are you aerating now?
Also I had a cold weather weed “explosion”, I should cut low and bag to keep weed seeds from going back to soil, correct?

I have horrible bermuda. There are weeds coming in now. What should we do right now? Please, advice is definitely needed and we can't afford a lawn service.

If you core aerate, then chop in the plugs up without removing them from the lawn.. what was the point of core aerating?

Wouldn't that trash your blade? Especially if the soil has stones?

I thought you were going to say to fertilize immediately after aerating

I have bad water logged clay. Im guessing just let the cores dry out and mulch em. wet clay is like playdoh.
