Finally built this, I’m very much a newbie even though I’ve had a shop in my basement the last 3 years & only tinkered with building only things for organizing the shop. Even though it took about 2.5 hours as I’m very nervous using a router this was simple to make & it works like a charm. Thanks for confidence to build this & I’ve subscribed.

I love the way Tamar provides some options in her videos for how to work with what you've got and find ways to do things with different tool setups.

It’s really. Cool that you have included two different methods to make this! Very considerate for your followers!
Thanks

That’s such a great message. I think people get turned off by not having the tools that are are marketed to perform a specific task. There truly is always another way! I really dig your channel!

Thank you for the video. I am doing flooring and if you have ever worked on a house you know that nothing is square. I grabbed some double sided tape to get through the two cuts I needed but realized I need need a tapering jig. There are a ton of videos with complicated jig builds but yours is simple and does the job. That’s what I was looking for. I’ll be building this very soon. Oh, it’s cool that you show people without a router table how to build one as well. I have one but I know what it’s like as a bigger without a lot of tools. Thanks again.

Thank you Tamar! ☀ Your insights and guidance are crystal clear! I just built the jig with the exact same parts and it's a blessing for the tapered leg chairs I'm building now. 👍

I built this today with some scrap maple plywood. Works perfectly. Simple and effective jig. Thank you.

Built this one last week, too, along with your small crosscut sled, only without the extension -- simple and effective. You are absolutely right: this one does not need a runner, just the saw fence!

Made this jig to substitute for the lack of a jointer and no room for one in my tiny shop. Thanks a bunch. Love your tutorials.

This is such a clever idea. It’s so neat and having the ability to adjust the clamps to the full length is great too.

The first jig was nice but I have to agree, your newest jig is much more efficient. Great job as always.

I love that you’ve considered other makers who may not have the same tools. Amazingly simple but beautiful.

As a newbie I keep coming back to your channel. You explain things in a way that is easy to understand but you don't cut corners (no pun intended!). Thank you, and please keep doing what you're doing!
