Thanks, Newbie Dan! Finally another YouTubber that is honest with QUICK, easy, and cheap. You move at these tasks at a perfect rate for me. Most others do not. You are now part of my DIY stuff. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for getting to the point and not making it a long drawn out video!!
This was an extremely helpful method that I can use right away to level my bathtub facing as a 5 foot wedge is needed. ✅💙

Absolutely what I needed to know in such a simple and safe, repeatable technique. No fancy jigs required, just another board and a few scraps. Brilliant. Thank you for posting your ingenious idea.

Nice! I was struggling with something similar this weekend and didn't think about the stoppers you used to reposition the boards for identical cuts. Great tip

Mother of necessity is all about timing... did a quick such & found your video and it was EXCELLENT! Viewed it twice to ensure I got the concept & methodology. Then used your suggestion shortly after that... with success, satisfaction and perfection. Thank you very much for the video.

thanks sir, i had some floor boards that needed some long tapper cuts because the rooms were not built very square and this worked great.

Thank you for this I was searching for a good taper jig that didn’t need a router or clamps to make. This made cutting my back slats for an Adirondack chair super fast and easy. Couldn’t have made them identical without this

So simple, but the best solutions often are. Cheers, Huw

Thanks so much for the short video! Can't stand the 15 min videos that convey about 3 min of useful info.

Fantastic video.
Short and to the point.
Just saved me from using filler on a 7ft long gap that went from 8mm to 18mm due to uneven walls/floors in the house.
It has made my wardrobe project look damn near professional. :D
Thank you.

This is one of those videos that I could have used last winter while building a desk. Each leg was comprised of two tapered 1" pieces of oak...this jig would have saved me a lot of time in making sure that all 8 pieces were identical. Great tip for future newbie woodworking projects!

Great technique! If I were a furniture factory and cranked out tapered pieces 24/7, I might spend the time on one of those complex jigs. But just for the odd project involving tapered legs or such, once in a blue moon, I'll choose something like this every time! Well done!

I am not a woodworker just a weekend warrior with limited tools. I was searching online for ideas to make this exact kind of cut on a pressure treated 2x4, to be able to build a platform atop in order to level a small garden tool shed where the ground slopes down. But all I have is a skill saw. Anyway this was a nice video and gives me pause to think better/diffently in my situation. Thanks.

And it worked! Cut seven "rafters" to replace destroyed foam core roof section. All pitches are identical. Thanks.

Thank you! Once I have access to the table saw I don't have time to play around and figure this out. So I'm glad go to into it knowing how how to set it up if there isn't a taper jig.
