Been watching you for a few years now James, thank you, not only for these free plans, but everything. I'm looking forward to making the bed, and I'm sure this jig will come in handy for the headboard legs.

Every single wood working journal seems to be better than that last. You sir, are a fine testament to what woodworking is all about...if I could only figure out what that actually is.

Oh yeah, and free plans? Oh Boy!!! I have a new table saw coming in a few weeks. THIS will be the very first project I run across it, Promise!

Thank you for the tapering jig plans! I'm working on a drill press table and need to cut a couple tapers. BTW - great site I come to it often.

I just watched a bunch of videos on tapering a table leg at the table saw. Some people start the cut in the bottom of the leg (blade is nearly 90 degrees to the face); others start the cut in the middle of the leg (blade is just a few degrees off from the face). Is one method preferred for safety and/or smoothiness?

Very nice jig, but I dont see how you can taper more than two sides. Can you demonstrate a four sided taper, that is, if the jig is designed for that?

Great video. Another great jig that I need. I like to build my own knobs over wing nuts. More torque and easier on my old hands. I'm kinda surprised you don't.
