You will only lose strength and muscle mass after not working out for like a month and then it still happens gradually. I had to quit for close to 6 months due to an injury and I had all of my gains back in just a couple of weeks. If you can’t train, just eat well and do the physical activity you are able to do until you can go back to your regular training schedule

I feel a lot of people tend to overtrain if anything. Advanced high level training is not about how hard you train, it's about how effectively you can rest. Good sleep, food, and general rest is great for long term gains.

I'm much older(57) and not in "perfect" shape. However I still have a kinda flat stomach. If I don't eat right or don't do any ab work I definitely notice it.

if you are going strictly for hypertrophy you may be able to get away with less rest but if you wanna get any kind of stronger you gotta take recovery seriously

TRUSTTT HIMMM, HES RIGHT. I LEARNED THE HARD WAY now I’m my shoulder and biceps messed up. Can’t even shoulder press or do bicep curls now. I do like 4 and my bicep head feels like it’s so strained and gone tear 😢. Take y’all rest days man.
