Turek's objective morality God has priors including slavery and genocide. And Turek loves Him.

Has Turek ever debated a grown up since Christopher Hitchens handed his ass back to him on a plate?

the Bible actually condones slavery. According to the bible slavery is good.
Secular people decided slavery is bad not the Bible and certainly not god.

Theists don't have an objective standard for morality either. Humanity's understanding of morality has evolved independent of God. Theists just like to attribute goodness to their god post hoc.

Having no objectivity is not the same as have no standard. In many cases atheists have a high moral standard than theists. All Frank is saying is you do not have my standard. Frank relies on other people to set his moral standard, setting his standard my historical dogma. When morality by its very nature requires study, debate, argument and persuasion over not simply borrowed.

Is the almighty creator of the universe incapable of keeping his own moral standards?

Translating Turek: Everything is permissible and nothing is immoral if you use the Bible as the basis for your personal morality.

Apparently, if I invent a god who agrees with me then my morality is objective.

Ludwig Feuerbach answered this question long ago: people have consistently developed their moral standards based on the obvious principle: don't do what you don't want done to you. This understanding came with the experience of developing relationships in society. A simple example of moral development from an obvious point of view: parents teach small children: don't hit another child: it hurts him just as much as it hurts you. I wonder if Turek knows about this materialist philosopher?

Is there something wrong with slavery, murder, and grape? Not according to your bible, Frank. Have you ever read it?

…. So what? I don’t need objective morality. We just need enough good people and it works.

We only have man-made morals, based on knowledge, experience and agreements, the morals in bible and quran are no exceptions here.

That is such a silly argument . Like humans couldn’t figure out right from wrong . We all know that all living creatures have the innate drive to survive and ultimately thrive AND all living creatures recoil from pain and suffering . Recognition and understanding of mutual pain and suffering gave rise to empathy which is the root of morality . The golden rule has been around a lot longer than Christianity

The bible is one of the most A moral books ever written

How is it better to base your morality on a God's corrupted nature ? If God was ever at any point all-loving, it's quite clear that god's loving nature has been corrupted.

Well if it's subjective then I guess the law will have no problem with me owning some Christians for the physical labor that I need done around the house. 🤔

We life in a subjective perceived world with subjective man-made morals, based on KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCES and AGREEMENTS.
Over several generations we figured out that e.g. mu rder causes a lot disadvantages: you k ill someone from another familiy, they will k ill someone of your family, both families are weaker after.
Both families KNOW, based on that EXPERIENCE, that its better to not mu rder, they AGREE about that and develop a subjective moral and a juristic law agaisnt it.
Agreements like this lift the personal subjective moral on a common level, till the nevel of a nation, etc.
Based on KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCES and AGREEMENTS, we all agree that murder is by moral a no go and by law a crime.

The only way that murder can become accepted is claiming that its a demand from a "higher will" and by that an objective moral (which doesnt exist, but they claim it anyway). With that trick the Hebrews justifyed the gen oz ide they did on the Ammonites, and the Nazis justifyed they gen oz ide they did, etc.
Objective morals are not only not existing, they are also dangerous.

Empathy is awesome. Some of us dont need a book to understand that killing someone is wrong.

Once again we see that Turek is an arrogant grifter.

Theists will assert that their holy books provide objective morality while ignoring the fact that they were written by humans who were simply pretending that their own subjective morals were coming from a deity.

Regardless of where your morality comes from, it is subjective. The existence of a god would not change that. And given that the biblical god specifically endorses slavery, Turek then, by his own argument, cannot justify that slavery is wrong.
