I’m 40. No one taught me how to do my hair. I watched video after video. You sir have taught me more in the last week than my entire life. I curled my hair per your recommendations and it’s lasted 3 days! It never lasted over a day before. I bought all the recommended hair products for my type and I’m already seeing results. Thank you for what you do!!!!

Who in the world uses more shampoo than conditioner? I go through three bottles of conditioner before the first bottle of shampoo is even done.

I always thought the “wash twice” was a marketing gimmick to make u use more. But when you said it in a diff video, i tried it. My hair stays cleaner longer and doesn’t get gunky from products like it used to! Thank you! 😃

After binging your videos and downloading your recommended product list for my hair type, I went out and bought a new leave in, new hair oil, and shampoo & conditioner. My fine hair has never looked better! Thank you Chris!

My mom used to get so mad at me for using so much conditioner!!! I figured it was bc she had short, fine hair and I had long, thick curly hair and she just didn’t get it. I need to show her this video! 😂

My hair has improved tremendously since I started watching your videos. My mids and ends have never looked better. I still struggle a bit with frizz but I think it's because I wash it every other day, so I'll try dry shampoo to last longer between washes.

What I love the most is that you don't promote using a bunch of products but just the basics necessary for a healthy hair ❤ thank youu

I'm 38, found your channel a few months ago. I'm happy to say I do the majority of what you recommend. I have wavy frizzy hair that can be quite curly when I diffuse it. It's also very long (mid-chest back length). I've had a very good hair routine for about 4 years now which includes the following: 1) wash twice a week, no more 2) incorporate a hair mask before conditioner AND I use leave-in conditioner. This one was hard to swallow for me, as it seemed like too many products. But I swear, the more conditioned my hair got, the easier (predictable it was to work with) and easier to style. 3) I blowdry with the Revlon brush and yes, I use a heat-protecting cream. Sometimes if I remember I mix with a smoothing cream. My hair looks amazing for like 4 days, I can usually push it to five or six (then it gets gross). 4) Each night I brush my hair out gently with a bamboo brush and apply oil to the ends, then I sleep in a satin hair bonnet for long hair. This has also been a game changer, my hair is no longer getting tangled during my sleep and looks very beautiful when I wake. When I wake I usually brush it once more and i'm off for the day.

I wish someone had explained all this to me years ago. I wasted SO much money on products I didn't need and tools that didn't work. I'm enjoying the extra tips I am learning from your channel. Thanks so much for what you do <3

Thank you for spreading the "hair treatment" knowledge so generously... I have a tough quiz for you: a specific video for those of using a swimming pool daily. Hair need special treatment to not lose moisture when getting wet by chlorium so often. Also u cannot skip shampoo on daily basis if u go to the pool every day... Need your authority on that. Thnx

I noticed a massive difference when I started down the curly hair road and learned the 'squish to condish' method. I found I got more conditioner throughout my than just on the top and bottom strands. I use a lot of conditioner but my hair has looked and felt better ever since.

Thanks for all your great videos, Chris! My hair looks so good now since I started following your advice. I get so many complements. I’m a grandmother of 7, yet I now believe my best hair days are yet to come. My hair is finally growing out instead of just breaking off and looking pathetic. Many many thanks! ❤

I’ve used the lather and suds technique since I was little. It just made sense to me that the greasier my hair was, the less it would lather. So I could always tell how greasy my hair was. I do the first wash with lots of shampoo to get rid of as much crap as possible. Then on the second wash I use way less and I can gauge how clean my hair is.

Thank you for producing these videos! I'm a 43 year old male growing my hair out for a 2nd time, 18 years ago I tried and wound up with dreadlocks because I had no idea how to take care of hair. These tutorials are the most watchable, informative, and funny videos I have come across and I am grateful that you've put them out there. Please keep up the good work, I was doing everything wrong and wasn't even washing my hair properly 😂
