This was the worst review on the Crosstrek I've seen on the internet so congrats on your "worst Crosstrek review" award. wtf man

Really? You can afford a $27K + Crosstrek, but you can't afford a cell phone? WTF dude. Used? The App works fine! I start my Crosstrek, Lock it, Unlock, and can get updates without problems. This vehicle is designed for individuals, couples, and small families. Larger families would be better served purchasing a Forester or Ascent. I don't know what your "Friends" issue is? But, I purchased my 2019 Crosstrek in 2021. Since it was USED, the price was lower than a brand new car. I have the Premium trim with ALL the Bells and whistles. Sunroof, Heated seats, I-sight, Crash detection, Blind spot detection, Cross traffic detection, Emergency Braking, Premium sound system (Rockford Fosgate), and X-Mode. This car had less than 30K miles on it for under $24K. I have driven this crosstrek on both Highways and Off-road without any issues. Although I also have a Forester in our family. Every Road-trip we use the Crosstrek. More fun and comfortable.

This could be the absolute worst car review ever! My friend's Highlander (which cost twice as much as my Crosstrek) didn't come with a built-in GPS. The Crosstrek, as some comments mentioned, is not a (big) family car. If you like Subarus and the Crosstrek is small for you, you can buy an Outback or a Forester. I hope prospective Crosstrek buyers don't pay any heed to this ill advice.

If people don’t have a phone for navigating then they must know how to read a map😂

This is false information because the Subaru Crosstrek is a car you should buy if you want a reliable compact SUV

I have owned the Crosstrek for 8 years now. What BS.

There's nothing wrong with the Crosstrek. My '22 Limited is great. If this vehicle is too small for you, then go with an Outback or another make and model all together. Perhaps the Honda Pilot or Acura MDX.

You buy Subaru for the 4 wheel drive system

Very strange criteria. I've had my '21 Sport for a little over a month and I'm absolutely in love. Especially taking it up to the mountains in snow and getting waved through chain control like it's nothing. It almost drives better on a couple inches of snow and ice than on pavement, but it's a great daily driver (Michelin CrossClimate 2s help too.) And... no navigation is the 'problem'? Dude, who doesn't have an Android or iPhone at this point? The CarPlay implementation is pretty much flawless. For the $29 grand-ish I spent (with only 30k miles), I think it's a HUGE value.

Just bought a 2021 crosstrek and couldn’t be any more in love with it

This is a video about why you don't like Subaru. That's all well and good. But I don't need my vehicle to come with navigation. Though if it does have navigation I would want it to work.

None of these issues you listed though give the impression that the vehicle won't run or won't get you where you're going.

Basically if you don’t have an android or an iphone (like 0.43% of current american population) the crosstrek is not for you

What a waste of my time! It seems you are disappointed solely by the navigation app. However, I'd like to highlight that this car, rated 87 by Consumer Reports, the highest score among subcompact SUVs, offers much more than just navigation. With its AWD capability, it's perfect for both urban commutes and off-road adventures. Not to mention, its impressive ground clearance ranging from 7 to 9 inches depending on the model, ensuring a smooth ride in various conditions. And how about the Eyesight System? It's like having an extra set of eyes on the road, monitoring traffic movement, cruise control, and more. While navigation might be a concern, there's so much more this car excels at!

People are still buying manufacturer nav in cars? That's the biggest sales gimmick in history. I don't know anyone that uses built in nav at all. And the "garage he shows with all the cars parked along the street... where's the garage?

I love my Subaru...i can navigate without a phone so it's not necessary. It's roomy until I need to move. But that's not an issue

Lmao imagine complaining about a cross trek being expensive. Here I am with my 21 sti that ran me 43k plus tax brand new followed by 32k in modifications I’ve done so far.
