20 Min Standing Abs Workout & 15 Min Stretch | Exercises for Seniors & Beginners

Welcome to a walking workout that is focused on building stronger abs. With working out hard the last 3 days, today's workout has been designed to slow the pace down a little bit, focus on the abs and spend time stretching out the muscles that got used through the past 3 days. Without proper stretching, injuries can happen and that is the last thing anyone wants. We'll spend 20 minutes doing a mixture of cardio exercises and standing ab strengthening exercises and then we'll follow a thorough stretching program. Please take the time (only 15 minutes today!) to follow the stretches, slow down and breathe, and be thankful for what your body can do for you.

As always, this is low impact. Please use your judgment on when to modify exercises. If you feel a move isn't good for you, please change the exercise to a move that is more suitable for you.

This was wonderful. A great combo of light cardio with Abs. The stretching at the end was magical. I think I am going to the stretching part of this video every night before bed. THANKS

Please note! I will be putting up DAY 5 on Sunday. I wanted to put up as many as I could manage for the New Year but Day 1-4 was all my schedule could manage. I am back to work now after the holidays. The four days will give you a great overall workout so you can redo the set until a new one is released. Have a wonderful week!

Hey class was great, I have a little problem doing the stand up abs, my hip flexors don't work as good but I am determined to continue working on them. I like knowing the number of steps in the classes also. Now I am going to do my walk and I will come back later for another class....you take care and God Bless....Anne

How did I miss this one? The stretching part was great. Just what I needed today. Watching TV last night and I realized I was tensing my shoulders and neck. I tried to focus on relaxing but we were watching the documentary “20 Days in Mariupol”. It was excellent but tense. Have a good one Jules.

What a perfect quote for me to read today. I’m turning 63 on Monday and think about my wrinkles a bit much sometimes. I am normally a positive person, so now I know it’s from all those smiles throughout the years! Thank you, Jules!😊💛

Such a timely reminder of the importance of stretching. After a weekend of planting (bending, digging, squatting), this was the perfect complement: core/abs and those delicious stretches. Loved the ending quote. I must have had a lot of smiles!!!
