Yessss i recently started doing the incline dumbbell curl and my biceps never been that sore so ill probably take your advice and try laying down 😂

Rich piana said something similar about this as well, but he wasn’t all the way flat down, it was more mid way down and your hands are behind the back and it sure is a killer workout.

Cheating the rep up and focusing to failure on the eccentric is what got me my best gains currently. You can recover from so much more stimulus by doing this. This technique has allowed my lagging biceps to catch up to everything else.

Just be careful. Slow down the eccentric and really feel it. If you suddenly cheat an eccentric, you might injure yourself.

Been doing these for about a year now. Not completely flat bench but almost. I attribute the first bicep veins I've ever had in my life to this movement.
