Hi Mike, I improved my ham strings by placing a exercise band at bottom of foot, use it to pull your leg up as far as possible. Repeat each leg .

This is really helpful thank you. I was diagnosed with lymphoedema 4 or 5 years ago and Id never been told or shown how to massage my legs anything like this video, your ways make much more sense. I always look forward to seeing and hearing from you all. Hope Bob is good. Best wishes Jenny

Wedge pillow works! It's a twofer: It improves leg circulation and protects the lower back while lying on the back.

Instead of using your hands to massage, use a small paint roller, the kind with the sponge insread of the hard cardboard rollers. Will sure save your back trying to stretch, especially when your very elderly.

I start the lymph massage combined w deep belly breaths, but I am unable to massage my lower limbs, so I use a long handled bath brush. I bought it on Amazon, and it works perfectly, as it is double sided with soft and medium bristle options and has a long 20.5" handle for easy reach to my feet, while laying in bed w a wedge pillow. It's how I start and end my day.

Hello from southern AZ and thank you for the info. Question: can the "machine gun" be used on swollen ankles? Also, can a "tens" unit be used on swollen ankles? Have a wonderful week!
