He’s 100% right. After 3 months and 0 contact, I assumed it was over for good. Then my ultra avoidant ex texted me out of the blue. Stay strong! Use the heartbreak as fuel for self improvement- it’s a super powerful force!

Coming back isn’t a commitment. If they come back, they will 💯 leave again unless they did serious work on themselves and you see evidence of their change over a long period of time. Coming back because they miss you or are seeking validation or they feel lonely aren’t reasons to let someone into your heart and life again. My avoidant came back two times after doing zero work on himself and simply missing me- there will not be a third time.

I did this....succumbed to breadcrumbing over several months. In a moment of weakness and after ruminating for so long, I called him. Foolishly, I thought maybe he'd see the light, apologize, or something. Nope. Instead, I finally saw the light and calmly spoke my truth. Even though it was hurtful (only to me), at least I was able to truly see him for the wounded, toxic person he is and realize it was HIS loss, not mine.

Everyone is different and many of them don’t out of pride and ego . Just move on and don’t wait on any call backs . Don’t spin the block . Don’t go back to what caused you pain and broke you .

If you're chasing someone, it means they are running away. Find someone who values you and wants to stay in a secure and loving way. Strong boundaries against stonewalling, hot cold behavior will save you a lot of time. Life is way to short. Dont shackle yourself to fixing someone elses issues.

Ya, they do always come back. I have been through this way too many times with a few different men. My standards are definitely increasing over time as i haal.

I had an avoidant ex say he was going to unalive himself if I left.. it's been years, nothing has changed and he has tried to get me to go back several times, using several different platforms.
I think he may of finally got the hint because I kept blocking him 🤞 Save your sanity and get out while you still have the chance!
