Got my 256gb steam deck for $225 on marketplace, came with a dock, 512gb sd card and a nice case deals are out there I highly suggest looking at local deals before biting the bullet on a new one imo

I got the Asus Ally, it's windows 11 though and not steam OS. Was also kinda pricey too.

What a waste. Just 100$ cheaper than the Steam Deck and way less powerful. If this thing was closer to a $100 or $200 price range, this would have some value. A cheap Deck Lite is a really good idea. I'd love to buy my boyfriend one and be able to play more games together!

Devs should be scrambling to get FSR 3.1 with frame generation patched into all their games. There’s a MASSIVE market for handheld gaming PC’s. But they are missing out on most customers because the price and the complexity of bouncing between UI’s is dragging us back to the old days when only nerdy adults could enjoy the hobby. FSR 3.1 allowing for low-end hardware and a single UI(even if it is Windows) simplifying things will fix these few two biggest issues instantly.

I have a next lite, and a z1E ally. Love them both. I love windows. The build quality on the next lite is a huge plus and its the reason im keeping it. Its not a steam deck killer. More Ayn Odin 2 killer. I use it for emulation like switch and ps2, GameCube, WiiU. Gorgeous design. Great features. Joysticks are top tier. Theres plenty to love. Malcom in the middle cant seem to get past the idea that somone might actually want to buy it. I wonder if he bought his next lite or they sent him one...i wonder if they plan to send him anything after this video lol. What a wonderful delemma.😅.

Best buy got the ally z1 for 400$ new it is the slower ally but its still faster then a steam deck u cab get refurbished or used steam decks for 300 or less

I think the objective is to use it for 2d modern games like stardew Valley or Hollow Knight and some emulation. Even if I had a portable console I would rather play big AAA games on my PC

Yeah, if you are on a budget, just pick up a used steam deck 64gb in good condition and one ot two sd cards, upgrade the storage some time later

Got mine for around $230 after hunting for one around for like a month.
