I'm around a lot of teenagers. Given the opportunity to nap when they need, those who do nap tend to go to bed earlier at night and sleep better. Less snoring.

I’m 61 years old and increasingly take a 20 to half an hour nap every day. I still run a large company and find this helps. That said I just saw an article that said napping might be a sign of dementia. So of course I freaked out and came over here and this makes me feel better.

Are we polyphasic if breaking up nighttime sleep? Harkening to the medieval practise of rising during the night for a few hours and going back to bed - is this natural? The second sleep.
