DO NOT BUY Steam Deck - VERY disappointing

As a tech and gamer fanatic the steamdeck is like a dream coming true for me. When I saw the the first anouncment and read about the hardware and specs, and pre-ordering started, I signed up instantly.

I'm not dispointed at all, I can freaking play fallout 3, New Vegas and more on the go. My backlog of Japanese rpgs like tales of berseria, zestria, and arise on the freaking goooo. Freaking fast emulation like crazy. I'm emulating cwitch games dude almost 60 fps all the time.

You don't have a Steam Deck when this video was posted. You physically held up a battery bank for the 5 seconds you mentioned using a battery bank. But when trying to prove the points of the Steam Deck's button placements and ergonomics, there was never a physical Steam Deck to show your points. Or at any time during the video.

The battery life and bulk are valid criticisms of the Deck from other reviewers, but don't try to pass it off as your own first hand experiences. Great scheme to get people to cancel their pre-orders so you move up, though.

6-10 hours on a handheld playing AAAs would require either massive technological breakthroughs in battery technology, or Valve breaking the literal laws of physics. The more powerful a device is, the more energy it uses, the faster batteries drain because batteries provide energy.

I watched this on a steam deck.
Also my man is annoyed the steam deck can't bend the laws of physics and... is complaining that the controls are so bad he's getting blisters on his thumbs. I laughed out loud to myself when I heard that because the joycons are a joke in comparison.
