He thought he was smart by altering the photo of his dogs. He forgot he admitted to the dogs getting out on the day and also paying the fine for his dogs getting out. His attempt to outwit Judge Judy is probably more the reason that she went for the maximum $5, 000 than the bite itself.

I love that he did not understand Judge Judy's logic regarding him not denying it was his dogs at the time of the event. If you are SO sure that in a court of law where you are sworn to tell the truth, why now are you denying it was them? But in the same breath saying "Anything can happen".

Those rabies shots sound like a nightmare. But more horrifying is the defendant's lack of empathy for what his irresponsibility put the plaintiff through. One of these days his dogs are going to kill someone, and he's still gonna be callin' them good boys.
