He paid the ticked for the "dogs running at large", he told the police "they must of pushed the gate open" but still, it wasn't his dogs! What a big irresponsible baby! And the "witness" he brought with him looks like he just got out from serving 10 years in a state pen!

If those dogs truly weren't the defendants dogs, then why did he pay the ticket for dogs roaming freely? Why didn't he even contest the ticket, show that his dogs were clearly not the ones that bit the plaintiff?

He let his dogs running loose, wasn't up to date with their shots and allowed his dogs to physically and emotionally harm someone. People like him don't deserve to have pets.

Look... I had a pit bull growing up. I understand why Judge Judy feels the way she does about pit bulls. My pit never attacked anyone but he did get out of the gate once by actually climbing the fence paw by paw and we didn't know he knew how to do that. We ended up finding him a day and a half later and he was a little beat up and the neighbor's house he was at actually was getting animal control to come out and set some traps for stray dogs that kept coming on his property. If my dog had been killed or even attacked that man we would DEFINITELY have been responsible. Even though we didn't know our dog could climb the gate. We found out because when we put him back we actually watched him try to do it again and from then on my dad had to put him on a leash in the backyard where he couldn't reach the gate anymore and the only time he was let off was when we were out there with him. He got sick and we ended up having to put him down in 2016 but we were VERY aware of what kind of dog we had and we originally took him so he wouldn't go to the pound and get euthanized. I don't blame people for not liking pits. They can definitely kill people and do some damage. So like JJ says if you decide to take on that responsibility you need to make sure you do EVERYTHING in your power to make sure that you're not negligent in allowing them to just run around and hurt people. Even if it's not your INTENTION you are still responsible!

I knew when Part 1 was posted that the Defendant was responsible just from his body language and anxious finger tapping on the podium. What I didn't know then was that the Defendant is also a lying POS. Imagine being the scum bag that not only lets potentially lethal pitt bulls run around on their own, but you also digitally doctor photos of them to avoid being found guilty. Just the worst.

So irresponsible. One downside of walking around the neighborhood is dealing with irresponsible people’s dogs coming up to you. You don’t know if they will attack. I’ve also had this problem at the beach. These people’s dog jumped up on me and they called the dog but didn’t bother to apologize.
