I like doing Renegade Rows + Push-ups together because they hit so many areas at once. This just encourages me to add them into more of my workouts

Funny, this morning I actually started my workout with a “ladder” variation starting with renegade rows with push-up, then doing double devils press, then doing pull-ups. Started with 8 reps and decreased reps each set, once I got to 6 reps, the pull-ups were all weight, once I got to 4, the pull-ups were all paused at the top with slow eccentric. After that I did a 5 minute EMOM with burpees. Was a short and solid workout

And one important advice: Use Kettlebells that have an absolutely stable stand on the ground. This is a matter of base diameter, weight and handle height combined (and to a lesser extent of the KB's internal weight distribution) - and of the firmness of the ground you're exercising on. In my case, this one exercise works better on our living room carpet than on the jigsaw mats that I do my TGUs on.

Fine core exercise, terrible back exercise so ignore the back part of it. You will still need a row that allows you to stretch. It absolutely is NOT A POWERFUL BACK EXERCISE. I can easily prove this, do renegade rows, remember the weight, then so a standing single arm row. Compare the weights, not remotely similar because of the limiting factor of core strength in a renegade row, and you're losing the stretch which is proven to be the most important factor of any lift.

Again, fine core exercise but it absolutely is not a good back exercise
