We were both born in 1971, both diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, her cancer came back and as far as I know mine has not. I watched her journey and was inspired. Rest well my sister warrior.

Thats so hard to hear. Its bad enough we weren't ready for her to go. But to know she didn't want to go either. She was too young and full of life still. Its just a shame cancer still takes so many lives. Cancer has been rampant in my family including extended family. Just unreal.💔

I was sad to hear of Shannen’s star being born into the next stage of life. I am only sad because we can’t hear more words and receive more strength from her. I am glad that her fight is over, I think that she shared and gave enough. I followed her through this journey and when she passed, in my sadness, I realized that I had taken the journey with her. Like more people here, I wasn't ready at all to let this wonderful lady go. Not surprised she wasn't ready, she was a lively figure as can be. Kinda figured that was hard listen to at times her podcast. She always would talk about clinicals how when comes out will help her live more years longer . How she plans on moving and dating again. She clearly was not ready to go was not at peace with diagnoses which makes it sadder . Knowing she wanted live. Rest in peace I was shocked she passed since she seems well week prior on podcast.

This feels different to others, most people keep to themselves, but she was very open about it, i followed a lot of her battle, really fucking sucks.
