Shannen Doherty's Last Instagram Post Is Totally Devastating

After the death of Shannen Doherty on July 13th, 2024, fans are in mourning. The actress, who was best known for her roles as Brenda Walsh on "Beverly Hills, 90210" and Prue Halliwell on "Charmed," was a fixture on primetime TV in the '90s and 2000s, sadly succumbed to the cancer that she'd been fighting for years.

It is touching to know that despite the dire condition the cancer became, she never lost hope.

I got my first mammogram right after Shannen was diagnosed. We were around the same age and I realized if it could happen to her it could happen to me. I found out after multiple testing that I had stage IV breast cancer right out of the gate. She kept me company even though she never knew me. After almost 8 years and countless surgeries and treatments, I just received a clean PET scan. I have so much gratitude for being able to see my kids reach young adulthood and many other milestones. I have survivor's guilt. Why am I here when so many didn't get to make it? Thank you Shannen for showing me how to fight. You helped so many, just leading by example.

I can easily name 40+ from my school days that have passed, and others that are currently battling at least one health care issue. Thank You Shannon for being so open about your cancer fight.
