Went in for surgery about 18 years ago. Reconstruction and debriding. Came out with a massive infection. Ruined the surgery, although the surgeon reattached ligaments that were torn off for quite some time. Took me 2 years of physio to walk properly but now I have pain with every step. Gained weight. As a former athlete it is depressing to be out of shape. I would have my foot amputated to get rid of the pain.

Surgeons want to do surgery as that’s how they get paid. Medicine for the most part is about filling their pockets off of your continual pain.
