-1 block (200g) Tofu for each marinade
🥜Peanut marinade:
-2 Tbsp peanut butter
-2 Tbsp soy sauce
Optional: 1 Tbsp sriracha
-1 Tbsp vinegar
-2 Tbsp maple syrup/agave
-2 Tsp sesame oil
-2 cloves garlic
-a small piece of ginger

🌶️ Gochujang by @plantbasedrd:
-2 tbsp gochujang
-2 tsp brown sugar
-1/4 cup (60ml) orange juice
-1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
-1 tbsp soy sauce
-1 tbsp maple syrup
-2 cloves crushed garlic
-a small piece of ginger

🇲🇽 Mexican inspired:
3 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tsp white wine
1 Tsp cumin
1 Tsp chili powder
1 Tsp garlic powder
salt to taste
1/2 Tsp chili powder
1 TSP smoked paprika
1 teaspoon oregano

Halloumi style:
-2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
-2 Tbsp lemon juice
-1 Tbsp dried oregano
-3 Tbsp olive oil
-salt to taste
Marinate the tofu up to 1 week.
Fry in a pan or bake at 180C/360F for 25mins.

Tofu is a huge part of asian cuisine and it's so sad when people say tofu doesnt have a taste... that's because you aren't eating quality tofu. Fresh, quality tofu has a light refreshing soy flavor and I love it plain or pan fried simply with salt and pepper

I'm Indonesian and here tofu is eaten on a daily basis. It's usually eaten with meat too. I was surprised when I found out it was vegan, then even more surprised when I found out people hate it because it's vegan. Like, I said I was eating tofu and someone said "ew, just eat real meat, stop faking it." I've personally never used tofu as a substitute for meat, but I do love tofu in stew or fried with some rice and tempe (fermented soy beans). We have different kinds of tofu for different uses and my favorite is a firm-ish tofu with a sort of unique inside. Idk how to explain it but it's so good fried and in soup. If you don't mind, could you try making tofu + tempe + rice? Trust me it's amazing, especially with ske sort of chilly oil. Literally my childhood.

I'm a meat eater and these videos made me try tofu for the first time. It's a pretty interesting protein to work with. I will definitely added to my rotation.

Am I the only one who LOVES plain tofu? I see so many people saying that they disliked tofu before they learned to prepare it correctly, and yes, it does taste even better after doing so, but am I really the only person who just loves the taste of plain tofu as well?? I legit can't count how many times I've had tofu straight out of the package as a snack lol

I often use olive oil, garlic and salt when I fry tofu. Simple, fast and taste fantastic.

I just fry tofu, dip it in soy + lemon or vinegar and call it a day 😂 it's versatile and tastes good! Soon i'll try some of your recipes, looks good 🤤

Since I have sensory issues, tofu is something that I've always had difficulty eating even if it tastes good because the texture is just never right. But oh my God, deep fried tofu is life changing. That crunch with a delicious sauce and rice is just 👌
