Welcome to your Day 13 Dedicate practice! The ultimate brain and body yoga practice!

This 21 min integrative session is designed to bring a gentle opening to all parts of the body... and to your mind too.

Pro tip: use your breath.

It is through this type of practice that we begin to settle into the experience of our yoga, instead of residing in our constant ambition to ‘get it right.’

I hope you're aware of how many people love you, Adriene, and I just wanted to add my gratitude to theirs - I recently lost my mother after caregiving for her for three years throughout her struggle with Alzheimer's. You've been with me throughout. Your daily yoga (because it's free and I have no income, because you are so darn cheerful and I"m so sad, because you are so gentle and I'm so tired!) has saved my life. I will always be grateful for the gift that YOU are to the universe. Oh, and Benji too. So much gratitude.

I like honoring coincidences. This morning I read a message saying: "Don't let perfect be the enemy of good". And during practice I also heard Adriene saying something regarding not focusing on doing it "right" or perfect. SO I WILL TRY TO HONOR THIS ALONG THE DAY! NAMASTE! 🙏🌷

Everyday I find myself saying, "Ok, this is my favorite day so far!"
Adriene, I will forever be grateful for you and your ability to connect thousands of people around the world and somehow also make us feel that each video was personalized for us as individuals. This is emotionally and physically challenging for me. I always struggle with “making space” and “taking up space.” I used to weigh over 300 pounds, so I was always mortified that I was taking up too much space, and plenty of people around me were eager to let me know that I was offensively in the way. I lost half my body weight over 16 years ago and it’s still a work in progress to learn to love this body. ❤️

Things I especially love about this practise:- Numero une - We got our Aladdin reference! "It's a whole new world baby!!!" Numero deux - "Take another sip of air..." Gorgeous. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. Adriene you genuinely just made me feel like i could drink air like water. Amazing. Thank you x

You know that amazing feeling you get when you get that sudden hot burst of elation that floods through your body when you achieve at something you previously only failed at? And then you get that amazing self awareness that nothing said from anyone can dim your shine because in that moment, you are a blazing flame who just witnessed the truth of their potential. Today’s practice was that day. Thank you Adriene!

Adriene I need to tell you how much I appreciate your sessions. This is my fourth month of following you. I stopped having shoulder pain within two weeks of starting. I practice right before bedtime and I’m sleeping better than ever. I’m sure you get hundreds of notes, but I had to tell you your dedication and gentleness are inspiring. Many thanks.
