So, let me see if I got this straight. God creates the sinner, creates the concept of sin then sets things up such as to allow man to sin conveniently placing the mechanism for the fall right within arms reach, he creates the serpent knowing in advance that it will lure man into sin. He does all this knowing the outcome, yet he is not the author of evil? He allows evil to exist despite being powefull enough to make it go away with the snap of a finger and has the incentive to do so being all good. It just doesn't add up no matter how much you try to weave apologetics around it.

Simple answer:
Yes. He created everything.

They never just answer the question; they just go all over other topics.

So basically you don't have the answer to the question. Okay.

Who created the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil?

Yes God created evil. He admits it actually. Read Isaiah 47:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace and create EVIL: I the LORD do all these things.

So let me get this right. You put treats all over the house for your dog, when you go to work, AND put the freshly cooked smelling chicken at the center of the house and you tell him not to eat it while you are gone. If the dog eats the chicken he have sinned??? Because he had free will and it was his CHOICE???? Seriously????
And then, you throw him out to live as a stray, because you LOVE

I wonder what you would do if you hated him?
Is there anything worse than abandoning your child???
He abandoned humans and if we abandone him we go to hell???
If that isn't projecting, what

If God created people - and the serpent- with the ability to sin, doesn't that make God the author of evil?

I can only understand evil as suffering or something that can cause suffering. So if God created evil, doesn't that mean he is evil? How can he be good if he created suffering?

You know, sometimes I feel extremely tired to become God's creation.I don't want to rebel against Him but sometimes I can't compassionate with God

I would like to ask you two questions. 1. If God knows the end from the beginning, then why did he placed Adam and Eve in the garden beside the tree of good and evil and allow them to eat the fruit? Shouldnt he have just keep them away from the tree? 2. In Gen. 2:8-9 It says God made three types of trees one for food, one for life and the other is the knowledge of good and evil. Why did God create a tree of good and evil in the first place?

Nice job dancing around the question like your running for congress. Here's the answer.

Your answer to the question is that he is omnibenevolent? That doesnt address the paradox at all, it is the philisophical equivalent of ‘nuh uh’. He sent his son to die on the cross? How does that prove he is all good? He is all powerful, just wave your hand and forgive people and give eternal life instead of torturing your child to death.

Growing up in the church, we were taught that God is the creator of everything, so it makes sense that God created evil or the devil, the face that represents evil. So if you say God didn't create evil, he's not what we were taught, which brings up more questions than answering.

Psychopathy is particularly curious to me as there seems to be evidence that suggests it’s inherent to a small set of individuals; at the very least it appears to be a predisposition for a small percentage of people, indicating that lack of empathy and conscience is not always a choice. This one is a major conundrum for me.

The God of the Bible created the options, gave them to us to choose from using our freewill.

So if I choose evil it's not my fault, the option was given to me right?

Two ways to look at it.
1. Is either the God of the Bible wanted it this way for His pleasure, or 2. it took Him by surprise.

How can you be God who created Lucifer as an angel, and didn't know he was going to be this evil on the land and didn't stop it?

Is there some power in Lucifer that the God of the Bible did not know about?
