Concise, and accurate. Sometimes just a little study of the word’s Greek or Hebrew definition is all it takes to explain things that may seem at odds with itself. The Word of God is perfect. Our understanding is often what causes the problem and that is usually due to lack of study into whatever we may be struggling to understand properly. God bless you brother.

I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the LORD, do all these things.“ (Isaiah 45:7 NKJV)

You were so close to saying it correctly. God DOES "create" moral evil, in that moral evil doesn't actually exist unto itself, but is the absence of moral good (God's will). The same as dark is really the absence of light, cold vs heat and so on. God is 100% good, holy, just, righteous. Therefore the absence of God is 100% bad, evil, unjust, wicked. Life, light, and love belong to God.

I saw it as ying and yong. How would we know God's mercy, forgiveness, longsuffering, graces if it wasn't for our moral sin. Evil helps us see the fullness of God. God wants us to know him completely.

Genesis 50:20 KJV
20 As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. 20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good.

Deuteronomy 32:39-41

See now that I, even I, am he, And there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: Neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. For I lift up my hand to heaven, And say, I live for ever.

I never understood how the angels rebelled against God if heaven is pure and holy. If doubt and evil is nonexistent in heaven than how did they have the capacity to rebel?

It can only exist if God created it, to be used as a tool for chastisement..
Hebrews 12:6
“For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.”

Thank you my brother in the LORD Jesus for this explanation of this word evil as it is used here, many will not do word searches or search the Scriptures for the answers which are there. May GOD'S peace be upon you my friend.

God created all things through His Son, all things yesterday, today, and forever. God is the sole creator and there is no co-creator.

Wow thank you so much you wholesome soul. That was so pleasant, practical and completely nonsensical . Parsing words and translations to fit the narratives. As people open their eyes and learn through historical context than all of this fall away like Zeus and Apollo. There is no misinterpreting this scripture as history tells us Yaweh was a warrior god. No changing history
