interesting. Where are these gyms that are buying older used pieces? All the gyms near me have newish equipment, and I guess they eventually sell to whomever will buy the used stuff. In general I notice that the best deals are like 90 miles or more outside of the 'big city'. There are very few buyers out in the sticks. But you'd need a van/pickup truck, maybe a friend to help lift and a few hours to go get the equipment.
