True man..these bodyweights are mostly conditioning workouts. That's why you'd see mma players or combat sports athletes doing these circuits not to build muscle but conditioning their core/abs eo that it can absorb shots

I just do planking and it works just fine. I do 10 mins once every two day, and sometimes go for 12, 15, or even 20. Works fine

Spot on, you cannot spot reduce fat, to get abs you need to fix up your diet and train just like any other muscle where you can go to failure and providing stimulus

W informative video but the thing is I did ab circuits for around 4-5 months every day and it ended up giving me a six pack. I do have a low bodyfat % and I am an athlete not a bodybuilder. (I do also train all my other muscles)

I mean... you should do ab exercises like leg raises, situps, boxing crunches, planks, high planks, etc to build ab strength for fighting

I would do abs as a conditioning exercise, I would do around 50 throughout the day but I would still focus on compound movements for the hypertrophy

I do 10 minutes different exercises no break and it kills my abs but I definitely agree, however I want the core endurance as a track athlete. Recently tho I’ve added med ball throws and more dynamic core to help with stability and impact bracing.
