Usually, there is not enough battery power to affect the heart. It was more a shock. Pun unintended. She did not decrease intensity. This initially came out about 20 years ago.

Folks don't start out at the fastest level. I have one and I started out at the lowest level for about a week then every week I turned it up a notch until my body got used to it. Obviously she started out at the fasted level SMH
