My FAVORITE Quad Exercises

Here’s my 2 favorite quad exercises currently!
Aside from the benefits mentioned in the video here’s a few other reasons:
1. In my personal experience, when I do exercises like the conventional squat, I notice more overall fatigue before my quads ever reach failure. This could be due to my extra long femurs (seriously I’ve compared with people and my shits be LANKY). This requires me to have to lean forward more, causing my lower back and bracing to be the weak point, rather than my legs. I’m experimenting with doing separate bracing/back work right now while I’m recovering from an injury (was unrelated to squatting).
2. For me, if I try to do multiple heavy free weight movements (squats, lunges, RDL’s, etc) I find myself not pushing as hard. For me the leg extensions are less taxing overall and help me make sure I don’t p***y out when doing my workout.
*** I also want to note that the knee pain claim is PURELY anecdotal. I used to get knee pain when doing leg press or squats. However recently I haven’t noticed any. I’ve noticed that even during the leg extensions my knees feel much stronger than when I first started. Even at the heavier weight, I’m not noticing as much of any stress on my knees.
