SISSY SQUATS 👉🏼Do not be afraid of movement- this may look scary for the knees, but the body can adapt so long as you intro it properly. I used to have knee pain… Not anymore. I believe getting stronger in this range of motion helped. Take your time, don’t be too aggressive. You’ll be amazed at what your body can do. There are other ways to intro this movement to your body/knees, this is merely how I did it. Hope this helps ✊🏼

Remember, do these with caution. Work your way up safely with ZERO pain. I mean zero. Regress until you can safely move up. These are great exercises to strengthen and bulletproof your knees.

This specific type of squat is extremely important for commercial jazz funk or even street jazz dancers. This form of squat is constantly used in jazz funk choreography pieces when there’s floorwork implemented.

Davis, I just found your channel and man am I glad I did. I am 72 and hit the gym 4-6 times a week. To say that I am in better shape than guys half my age may say more about the shape of a lot of guys half my age these days. In any case, I am no bodybuilder but I aim to keep healthy and have a body of which I can be proud. Your videos are excellent. Detailed, articulate, and concise. Who could ask for more? This is an excellent way to stimulate the quads (particularly rec-fem) without the additional stress on the central nervous system, meaning better recovery from workouts. Awesome stuff bro!

Had knee pain for years after a meniscus tear and doing these for a few months fixed me right up. Gotta be careful and start slow though
