Fatigue and swollen ankles that made me think I might have kidney issues then the swollen ankles resolved. Then started my migraine headaches which I associated them to my Cochlear Implant but I saw my neurologist which helped my get control of the headaches. I thought my B/P was elevated because of my severe pain but the migraines resolved and the B/P continued. I called my PCP got on medication and kidney ultrasound showed slight damage because of my elevated B/P. I’m taking meds and cut out all canned vegetables and read labels to avoid high sodium products. My food selection at Thanksgiving will be more controlled than years past. I’m being very careful to not eat more than 1, 500 mg of sodium per day.
No alcohol/ No caffeine/ No table salt
I have a sister with ESRD that’s doing great but we’re all different.
Stay well. 🙌🏽💆🏻‍♀️

I had a severe nose bleed that I couldn’t stop and had to go to the ER. When the triage nurse got my blood pressure it was 265/144. They immediately put me on a heart monitor and gave me an IV with meds to bring it down. I had a ct scan and an ultra sound with dye put into the IV and found the reason my blood pressure was so high because I have an artery in my kidney that’s 70% blocked which caused Chronic Kidney Disease and very high blood pressure. I now see a nephrologist every 6 months and have blood taken every other month. I take 5 blood pressure pills a day and take my bp twice a day. Im lucky for that nose bleed because I had no symptoms of anything wrong.

I was recently diagnosed with end stage renal disease. I lost my kidneys to stress and high blood pressure .... She's right in everything she is saying.😥

Thank you! I'm starting to have foam in my urine. It's mostly in the mornings and I have a little burning pain on my right lower back so I made a doctor appointment and hopefully it's just an infection and I just need antibiotics. Pray for me.

Hello, I have a kidney disease, apart from the swollen legs, I can confirm these are accurate ( or at least for me )

My mom had kidney disease. She had to be on dialysis three times a week until she received a kidney transplant. I watched her suffer and take so many medications.

Low appetite and nausea/throwing up is also a very common early symptom.

Babble on then show the signs the last 2 seconds with white letters on a gray background 🙄
Yes I can pause the video & squint, but that's ridiculous.

Unfortunately, I have all of those. Just not all the time.

I have Prunebelly syndrome, LUTO, and I have had over a dozen kidney stones since my teenage years, so worrying about torn and scarred Nephrons is a Real Thing.

I’m literally tired 3/4 of the time, and I literally live off of coffee to function.

I have Venus Insufficiency, and reducing the effects of edema is a Daily Battle to keep it from getting out of hand.
